Biography

Rafal Zawistowski painter

I was born in Warsaw, Poland and grew up in Canada where I graduated with a BA in Fine Art at Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Canada in 2006.

As part of my education, I spent a year in Florence, Italy where my artwork was exhibited and I studied the Renaissance, this still plays a key part in my practice.

After graduating in 2011, later that year I exhibited at New Contemporaries where Charles Saatchi bought several of my artworks, in 2012 I exhibited my first solo exhibition and Charles Saatchi bought the entire collection before the private view.

I continue to exhibit my artwork through group and solo exhibitions and my worldwide collector base grows monthly.
