Biography
Bruce Graham painter
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
Style: Oil, Mixed Media
Bruce Graham is an artist living and working in the North East of Scotland.
He derives much of his inspiration from the dramatic and varied Scottish scenery and his paintings reflect his unique interpretation of our stunning landscapes, with the coastline seascapes, cliffs and rock formations lending themselves to the use of palette knives to create layers of texture. Bruce works mainly in oils, using both brush and palette knife to create paintings with style and depth. He is always keen to experiment with vivid colours capturing the beauty of the Scottish countryside.
The special quality of light of the northern skies, the endless variety of cloud formations and moody atmospheric skies are also reflected in much of his work. While many of the landscapes are based on actual locations, some have simply evolved from his imagination.
